Symbol Freelife Satin is a premium, environmentally friendly triple-blade coated board manufactured by the historic Italian paper manufacturer Fedrigoni. It features an exceptionally smooth, bright white satin finish that ensures particularly bright printing results.

We recommend the application of a laminate to ensure the best results when CAD-cutting. Use the 'Laminate' selector below to choose matt, gloss, or soft-touch lamination on both sides as standard.

CAD-cutting
Please note that complex/intricate designs, where CAD-cutting is concerned, will need to be charged accordingly due to the additional machine running time. See images for examples of basic and complex designs above. If you're not sure, please feel free to send your designs to orders@apprint.co.uk for advice. If a basic shape is selected at the ordering stage, but our studio/production team deem the design complex, a member of the team will be in touch regarding the additional cost before proceeding.
Artwork requirements
Please supply press-ready artwork, ideally in PDF format, set CMYK with 3mm of bleed on all edges and offset crop marks applied. Please include an outline of your bespoke shape on a separate page and a composite visual with the outline overlaid in position, bearing in mind the shape will need to be flipped so it mirrors the opposite side.
Where possible, please ensure artwork is centred without colour bars or file information applied; these are not required and often result in files being positioned incorrectly when using our imposition software.
Please note that due to cutting tolerances, we advise that all elements of your design which aren’t intended to bleed off should be set a minimum of 1.5mm from all edges to avoid cutting issues.

File copies
Our many trade customers trust us to deliver direct to their clients under plain wrap as standard practice. However, it’s sometimes beneficial to receive file copies for their records as future reference. File copies will be sent via Royal Mail First Class service to the invoice address by default, following the dispatch of the order to the chosen delivery address.
