Apply Spot UV Varnish to areas of your design to offer a glossy finish, ideal for giving logos or images some lift and shimmer in the light. Blind Spot UV varnish, such as a varnish logo over a solid printed background, looks very effective.

DISCLAIMER - Please note that cutting through UV polymer applied to matt laminate will result in cracking/chipping. Please ensure all UV-d elements are set a minimum of 4mm from all edges. Designs where the UV bleeds off the edges of the design will need to be ordered with soft-touch laminate to avoid this issue.
This product is available with Spot UV Varnish & Foiling to either the same side or applied to different sides at the same cost too!
Three-dimensional Design
Elevate areas of your printed design, such as logos, to offer a 3D effect or why not even blind emboss a pattern, shape or logo over the whole design? Embossing offers not only a design your clients can see but also feel under touch.
Please note that embossing (raising) one side of your design will deboss (indent) the opposite side. Embossing larger areas allows more pressure to be applied for better results. Fine lines or text will need to be run with less pressure to avoid damage to the board, resulting in a lesser impression.

Spot UV Varnish/Emboss setup requirements
Please supply your spot UV varnish setup as a separate page/file with all elements of the design which require varnish in position set solid black only (C0/M0/Y0/K100). Add any instructions to the notes section on your order.
Please supply your embossing plate & counter force setup as a separate page/file with all elements of the design which require embossing in position with a solid fill set solid black only (C0/M0/Y0/K100). Please note that embossing larger areas allows more pressure to be applied for better results.
